Calls: Current and Permanent Art Residency Calls
Under Calls, Away Art Residencies offers visual and media artists a service allowing them to find the art residency that suits them best from among more than 500 current and permanent calls on outgoing and incoming residencies offered by national and international programs of public institutions or independent initiatives every year. In addition to technical and organizational parameters, the tool also takes account of personal criteria.
In some cases, there are also calls for curators and theorists as well as the branches of architecture, literature, music/composition, design, film, fashion and performing arts.
All the calls are provided with direct links to the awarding institutions and the requirements to be met by applicants. The list only covers residencies issuing public calls. Further information on artistic specializations, awarding institutions as well as terms such as “incoming” and “outgoing” residencies, “additional support”, “family-friendly” and “programs” is available in the Glossary.
